  • Swedish Massage

This massage focuses on stress reduction and overall well-being.  It uses long, flowing strokes that promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation.  Pressure can vary from light to deep based on client preference.
  • Deep Tissue Massage/Neuromuscular Therapy

This massage focuses on relieving muscle tension and adhesions (knots).  It breaks up and releases stored toxins so that fresh blood and nutrients can circulate through the muscle to help alleviate chronic pain. While a deep tissue massage can be uncomfortable, it should never be painful.  After a deep tissue massage, some soreness should be expected for 1-2 days following the massage.
  • Prenatal Massage

This massage focuses on the needs of the mother-to-be.  Special pillows are used to enhance the safety, comfort, and well-being of both mother and baby. Some benefits of prenatal massage include general relaxation and stress reduction, relief from muscle cramps and spasms, less swelling, and easier labors. Written doctor's permission is required.
  • Hot Stone Massage

This massage is a deeply relaxing treatment that is given using smooth, heated basalt stones.  The heat from the stones warms and relaxes muscles allowing a deeper massage without using deep pressure.  Hot stone massage helps improve circulation, alleviate aches and pains, and reduce stress and tension.
  • TMJ Treatment

This treatment focuses specifically on the temporomandibular joint of the face.  Massage techniques are used both inside and outside of the mouth to relieve pain associated with TMJ disorder. Some symptoms of TMJ disorder include:  pain in the face, ear, or jaw joint area; limited ability to open the mouth wide; jaws that get "stuck" open or closed; and clicking or popping in the jaw.
